Dr Nabeel Khan and Staff
Dr. Nabeel Khan was born into a diplomatic family. One of five sons, he spent his youth in Zimbabwe, moving to the United States in the eleventh grade.
After graduating with honors from TC Williams High School, he then studied biology at George Mason University and distinguished himself.
Dr. Khan went on to study dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia, where he completed his dental school requirements in three years while not only working part-time in the hotel industry,
but also completing an externship at a pediatric dentist's office and volunteering at the
Northern Virginia Dental Clinic in Falls Church.
"I have always held a job, but it wasn't until I was in the hospitality industry that I learned the importance of customer service.
The dental field allows me to develop a personal relationship with my patients and enables me to really help them. In the clinic,
I see patients in pain and it's very rewarding to know that I can help relieve it."
Dr. Khan is very committed to listening to his patients and finding a plan that works best for them. He also strongly believes in giving back to the community.
He continues to volunteer at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic. Last year alone, Dr. Khan provided over $22,000 in donated dental services.
He has been involved with the Mission of Mercy,
American Dental Association's Give Kids a Smile,
and
Alexandria Health Department's Dental Program
for the past 3 years. For his community service, Dr Khan has been presented with the Northern VA Volunteer Service Award (2005) and the Ellen S Flannagan Service Award (2007).
He was also voted "Top Dentist" by patients in Northern VA magazine (2005) and "Top Dentist" (2006) as voted by peers.
"Your Springfield Dentist, Dentist in Fairfax VA, and Burke VA areas"
Dr. Khan believes that it is absolutely vital to keep up with new and advanced dental technology in order to provide his patients with the best dental care possible.
Accordingly, just in the past 2 years, Dr. Khan has attended over 130 credit hours in continuing education. An avid Redskins fan, Dr. Khan works out four times a week and enjoys sports, and also sponsors the
West Springfield Spartan baseball team
and the Lake Braddock Bruins Football team.
Dr. Khan also enjoys road travel to the Shenandoah Mountains.
